Dorothy P. Klein, 71, of Burlington, died at 6 p.m. Friday, February 27, 2004, at her home. Born May 23, 1932, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Arthur and Pearl Timmernam Goble. In 1952, she married Donald Klein in Burlington. Mrs. Klein worked for Burlington Medical Center, Titus Pizza, B.G.'s Buy & Bye and Choppers Pizza. She was a member of Bethany Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards and working crossword puzzles. Survivors include her husband; a son, Steve Klein of Burlington; a grandson, Kevin Klein; four sisters, Joyce Hageman and Sandra Cleek, both of Burlington, Joan Bowers of Kingston and Linda Pilger of West Burlington; two brothers, Richard and Donald Goble, both of Burlington; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and a brother. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends between 7 an 8:30 p.m.. The funeral for Mrs. Klein will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel with the Rev. Carl Engstrom officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for her grandson Kevin's education.
