Clara Louise Kerr, 88, of Burlington, died at 7:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2000, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Born July 8, 1912, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Smith Robinson and Clara Worth Taylor. She married Marion Lloyd Kerr on Oct. 20, 1949, in Burlington. He died Dec. 16, 1990. Mrs. Kerr worked at Benner Tea Co. as a keypunch operator. She was a member of Genesis Fellowship Church of Burlington. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Joan Kendall of Clayton, Del.; two sons, Jim Patterson of Davenport and Dan Kerr of Burlington; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Besides both of her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Sunday in Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Kerr will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Genesis Fellowship Church, with the Rev. Richard Dutzer officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
