Mekin Kantaphone, 34, of Springdale, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2008, in Rogers, Arkansas. He was born November 3, 1973, in the Country of Laos, the son of Somkith and Kane Kantaphone. He was an airplane mechanic and loved his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Darlene Kantaphone, of Springdale, Arkansas; one daughter, China Kantaphone of Mesa, Arizona; his parents, Somkith and Kane Kantaphone of Springdale, Arkansas; two brothers, Ole and Nholia Kantahone, both of Springdale, Arkansas. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2008, at the funeral home.
