Mrs. Florence Babb, 85, of 1706 Orchard, died at 10:19 am in Burlington Medical Center.
Born May 29, 1894, in Carthage, IL, she was the daughter of Jasper W. and Mary Smith Clampitt. She married Oliver E. Babb July 29, 1914, in Carthage, IL; he died June 6, 1968.
She was a homemaker and Presbyterian.
Surviving: Five sons, Carl, Robert, and Donald, all of Burlington, Phillip, San Leandro, CA, Richard, Ft. Worth, TX; five daughters, Mrs. Edwin (Dorothy) Braun, Betty Babb, Mrs. Robert (Donna) Renner, and Mrs. Jack (Norma) Dannenbring, all of Burlington, and Mrs. Bert (Bonnie) Wollam, Pulaski; 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; a brother, Paul Clampitt, Carthage, IL; Mrs. Betty Hardie, Carthage, IL.
Graveside service: 1:30 pm Monday, Aspen Grove Cemetery, Rev. Dale Hempen. Body is at Prugh's Chapel.
