Miss Betty L. Babb, 89, of Burlington died at 9:10 p.m. Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born May 2, 1925 in Burlington she was the daughter of Oliver E. and Florence I. (Clampitt) Babb.
Miss Babb was a Burlington High School graduate. She worked in office administration for Klein Manufacturing for 28 years. She enjoyed playing bingo, cards and going to Catfish Bend Casino. She was a coin collector and enjoyed listening to opera music.
Survivors include two brothers, Donald Babb of Burlington and Richard A. Babb of Fort Worth, Texas; two sisters, Bonnie Wollam of Cantril and Norma Dannenbring of Republic, Missouri; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 3 until 5 p.m. Sunday, November 2nd, at Lunning Chapel. The family will not be present.
The private family graveside committal service for Miss Babb will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating.
