Bonnie Jean (Babb) Wollam, 91, passed away on February 7, 2018 at her home in Cantril, Iowa. She was born November 3, 1926 in Burlington, Iowa to Oliver Eugene and Florence Iona Clampitt Babb. She married Bert Harrison Wollam on October 5, 1953. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2007.
Bonnie graduated from Burlington High School in the August class of 1943. She worked ten years at Koch’s Paint Supplies in Burlington. She also worked at Peck’s Market in Pulaski, Iowa, Silverhaven Nursing Home in Bloomfield, Iowa and the Davis County Care Facility in Bloomfield, Iowa. In addition, she helped her husband on the family farm. Bonnie was a member of the Cantril United Methodist Church and the Esther Circle.
She is survived by a sister, Norma Dannenbring of Republic, Missouri; a brother, Richard Babb of Fort Worth, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; her parents; four brothers, Donald, Carl, Philip, and Robert Babb; three sisters, Betty Babb, Dorothy Braun, and Donna Renner.
Per her wishes, her body has been cremated. A private burial will take place at a later date in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, Iowa.
