Armand(Jack) Babb, 65, of 2116 Summer, died Friday, Jan. 16, at 5:15 a.m. in his home. He was born Feb 26, 1903, in Galesburg, IL the son of Tom and Daisy Jacoby Babb. July 17, 1933, he married Theresia Krehbill in Fairfield. Mr. Babb and his brother operated Yellow Cab Co. in Burlington for many years and he was owner of the Palace pool hall. He served in the Coast Guard during World War II as a chief petty officer and was a member of the First United Church of Christ and United Commercial Travelers.
Surviving: His wife, a daughter, Mrs. Jerry Fifer, Los Altos, CA; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr.Armand (Jack)Babb, will be held in Prugh's Chapel on Monday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock. Rev. Mr. Donald V. Kloher will officiate. Interment till be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Prugh's Sunday evening from 7:30 until 9:00 o'clock.
