Bonnie Johnson, 89, of Burlington, died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, at Great River Medical Center's Klein Center. Born Oct. 28, 1921, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ernest and Esther Shaley Doyle. On Nov. 7, 1941, she married Jack W. Johnson in Kahoka, MO. He died Oct. 22, 2004. Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker. She was affiliated with First United Methodist Church. She is survived by one granddaughter, Misty Johnson Reed of Moline, Ill. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one brother, and her parents. No visitation is planned. A private graveside service for Mrs. Johnson was held Friday, Oct. 7, 2011, in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
