Obituary
Henry W. Augustine, 75, 1211 N. Ninth, died Friday at 11 p.m. at Burlington hospital, after a brief illness. Mr. Augustine was born Sept. 28, 1892, at Washington, the son of Albert and Lillian Miksch Augustine. Oct. 2, 1921, at Newton, he married Buelah Feiertag. He was a retired employe of the Murray Ironworks. He was a member of the First Methodist church, the VFW (World War I), the Int. Foundry Workers union No. 358. Surviving: The wife; a step daughter, Mrs. Lila Gastine, Hurst, Tex.; a foster daughter, Mrs. Mina Hoveland, Midway City, Calif.; two grandchildren, three great grand-children; three sisters, Mrs. Grace Bacher, Coal Valley, Ill., Mrs. Ossie Masters, Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Olive Huizinza, Ft. Madison; four brothers, Sam, everett, Harold and Clair Augustine, all of Burlington; several nieces and nephews. Services: Monday, 3:30 p.m.., Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Horace Ireland; Aspen Grove cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at graveside by the American Legion.
