Beulah Augustine, 95, of North Richland, Texas, and formerly of Burlington, died Friday, Aug. 20, 1993, in North Richland. Born Nov. 6, 1897, in Roca, neb., she was the daughter of Diedrich and Wilamina Wohlbrandt Peters. She married Joseph Friertag on June 28, 1916, in Burlington. He died Dec. 21, 1918. She later married Henry Augustine on Oct. 2, 1921, in Newton. He died March 29, 1968. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Royal Neighbors, AARP and World War I Widows. Survivors include a daughter, Lila Gastine of North Richland, Texas; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 8 to 9 tonight at Sheagren Funeral Home. The committal service for Mrs. Augustine will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Barrie Tritle officiating.
