Paul E. Augustine, 78, of 115 Greenwood Drive, Bulrington, died at 9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1995, at the Henry County Health Center in Mount Pleasant. Born Nov. 19, 1916, in Burlington, he was the son of Sam and Mable Peters Augustine. On Dec. 21, 1943, he married Gertrude Elizabeth MeHaffy in Burlington. Mr. Augustine was a retired farmer. He was of the Protestant faith. Survivors include his wife; two sons, Randy Augustine of Burlington and Larry Augustine of Wever, two daughters, Paula Hobbs of Danville and Lois Shipley of Burlington; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family will receive friends from 5 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Prugh's Chapel. The funeral for Mr. Augustine will be at 1 p.m. Monday in Prugh's Chapel with the Rev. William Trump officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for kidney dialysis.
