Ruby Alberta Bowman, 58, of 415 1/2 S. Fifth St., died at 5:13 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 16, 1993, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Feb. 18, 1935, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Charles and Ruby Bowlene Saldeen. She married Donald G. Bowman Sr. on Feb. 18, 1951, in Burlington. She had worked at the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant for 18 years. She attended First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, twins Delores Ruble and Doris Bernhart, Kathy Stoermer and Tina Bowman, all of Burlington; two sons, Donald G. Bowman Jr. and Chuck Bowman, both of Burlington; a sister, Frances Devoll of Orland, Calif.; 18 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister. Friends may call after 9 a.m. Sunday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral for Mrs. Bowman will be 2 p.m. Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Harris Knox officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
