Dec. 20, 1944 - Feb. 5, 2016 OKLAHOMA CITY Michael W. Jackson, 71, died peacefully in Boynton Beach, FL near his daughters, ending his suffering from a long illness. He was born in Burlington, IA but spent the majority of his life in OKC. Mike enjoyed life to the fullest, being involved in many activities and hobbies, including becoming an Eagle Scout, participating in 4-H, involvement with the antique car club, running marathons and raising horses. His varied interests led to many treasured friendships. Mike's passion for helping others showed throughtout his 40-year career as an attorney. He never met a stranger and will be missed by many friends and family members, but most by his two daughters and five grandchildren; three sisters; two brothers; and his "smartest dog ever," Gracie. He was preceded by his beloved wife of 45 years, Barbara, and will be buried next to her in their childhood hometown of Burlington, IA at a later date to be announced.
