Donald N. Boeset, 55, 709 Louisa St., died at 6:10 pm Friday, Nov. 2, 1990, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Oct. 16, 1935, at Grafton, he was the son of Hugo and Alpha Schultz Boeset. He married Catherine A. Ita May 26, 1979, at Zion United Church of Christ.
He worked in production at JI Case for 18 years and was a member of Zion United Church of Christ and Burlington Men’s Bowling Association. He was a US Army veteran.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, David D. Boeset, Garner, Doug D. Boeset, Burlington, and Nicholas J. Boeset, of the home; two daughters, Kim M. Boeset, Cleveland, Ohio, and Melissa A. Boeset, of the home; three stepsons, Timothy W. Boeset and Craig S. Boeset, both of Cleveland and Harold N. Boeset, Forest City; stepmother, Maxine Pint, Forest City; one sister, Phyllis Norby, Osage; four half-sisters, Barb Kirchgatter, Walker, Minn., Kathy Boeset, Arlington, Texas, Angela Anderson, Forest City, and Nancy Johnson, Rockford, Ill.; two half-brothers, Hugh Boeset, Naperville, Ill., and Norman McManus, Chicago, Ill.; and four grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 pm Sunday at the Lunning Chapel.
Services for Mr. Boeset will be at 2 pm Monday at Zion United Church of Christ with the Rev. Gary Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
