Beulah Augsburger Rewerts, 93, of Mount Pleasant, formerly of Burlington, died at 1:45 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Arbor Court in Mount Pleasant. Born May 14, 1910, in Burlington she was the daughter of Claude and May Garrison Brown. In 1932, she married Chelsea "Shots" Clifford Augsburger. He died Oct. 11, 1968. On Feb. 26, 1972, she married Henry "Hank" A. Rewers in Burlington. He died May 26, 1993. Mrs. Rewerts worked at Camp's Laundry and Sickel's Laundry and also worked at Oak Street Baptist Church. She attended Burlington schools. She was a lifetime member of Oak Street Baptist Church. She liked going fishing. Survivors include one son, Richard "Dick" Augsburger of Mount Pleasant; one grandson; two great-granddaughters; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral for Mrs. Rewerts will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Ron Kelway officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established.
