Mary Lou Atkinson, 89, of the Klein Unit of Burlington Medical Center, died Thursday, April 27, 1995, at Burlington Medical Center. Born July 4, 1905, in Henderson County, IL she was the daughter of Samuel and Lucy Penrod Ferrington. Ms. Atkinson had been a housekeeper at the Eastman Home. She was a member of the Church of God. Survivors include one niece, Virginia Miller of Burlington, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Committal services for Ms. Atkinson will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday in Aspen Grove cemetery, with Roberta Wilhelma officiating. Sheagren Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
