Mildred A. "Rink" Ringblum Hoy, 91, of Mesa, AR., died at 11:10 a.m. Monday, March 26, 2007, at Citadel Care Center in Mesa. Born Nov. 26, 1915, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Carl Fredrick Ringblum and Christine Laurina Nielsen. On Dec. 29, 1945, she married George D. Hoy in Phoenix, Ariz. He died in 1975. Mrs. Hoy was a retired accountant for the Federal Government. She was Lutheran. She used to dance in competitions, collect angels, and lecture for Weight Watchers. She was a member of P.E.O. and Mahnah Club. Survivors include one sister, Bernice Ringblum Farr of Mesa; and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Visitation with family will be from noon to 1 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel. The funeral for Mrs. Hoy will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Erik Swanson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
