Paul H. Hoschek, 63, of 2500 Florence Avenue, died in the emergency room of Burlington Medical Center Tuesday evening, Aug. 13. He was born Feb. 23, 1922, to Carl and Agnes C. Walsh Hoscheck, in Burlington, where he married Shirley Hanson on Nov. 17, 1945. He was a navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Hoschek operated Hoschek Masonry Co. for 35 years. He was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Bricklayers Union, Burlington Builders, DAV, VFW, and Eagles Lodge. Surviving: His wife; a son, Paul Daniel, Burlington; two daughters, Becky Kneedy, Macomb, Ill., and Kris Maus, Galesburg Ill.; a brother, Stephen Hoschek, Burlington; a sister, Katherine Jay, Burlington; and four grandchildren.
