Mrs. Faye AShby, 83, of 2830 Winegard Dr., died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 16, in Klein unit of Burlington Medical Center. Born July 23, 1896 in Wapello county, she was the daughter of Charles and Emily Tremaine Dickson. She married Elmer Ashby Dec. 5, 1943, in Bloomfield. She was a member of First Christian Church. Surviving; The husband; two daughters, Mrs. Edna Latta, Burlingame, Calif., and Mrs. Evelyn Spurgeon, Ottumwa; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frieda Malone, Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Opal Wieda, Port Republic, Md.Funeral: 1 p.m. Wednesday, First Christian church, Rev. John Vickers; Aspen Grove cemetery. The body is at Lunning Chapel.
