John (Shorty) Angelos, 68, died at 3 a.m. Wednesday in his home at 215 N. Main. He ws born in 1889 at Kato-Poros, Greece. Since 1916 he had operated a shoe repair business in Burlington.
In 1953 he returned to Greece and was married to Angela Constantoulakis. Surviving are his wife; a son, Michael, 4, at home; a brother, Andrew, Chicago, Ill.; and two brothers and a sister in Greece. Services are pending. The body is at Prugh's Chapel.
