Thomas William Hoff, 68, formerly of Burlington, died at Creighton University Medical Center, on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 10:35 p.m.
Born on July 15, 1942 in Burlington, Iowa, he was the son of William F. and Janice M. Wiesel Hoff.
Thomas was a resident of the Glenwood Resource Center, Glenwood, Iowa since 1982. He enjoyed dancing, music and going to the movies. He worked in the sheltered workshop at Glenwood State Hospital. He was affiliated with First United Church of Christ, Burlington, Iowa.
He is survived by his mother, Janice Hoff of Burlington, Iowa, numerous cousins and many loving friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Hoff on October 2, 1995.
Funeral services for Thomas William Hoff will be held on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Prugh’s Chapel, Burlington, Iowa. Pastor JudyAnn Morse will officiate. Interment will be at Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa.
The family will receive friends in Prugh’s Chapel one hour prior to the service on Monday afternoon.
A memorial has been established for First United Church of Christ, Burlington, Iowa.
