Obituary
Janice M. Hoff, 92, of Burlington, died at Burlington Care Center, on Monday morning, December 19, 2011. She was born on Aug. 21, 1919 in Burlington, Iowa, the daughter of Fred A. and Barbara Hartnack Wiesel. She married William Frederick Hoff on Aug. 23, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa. He died on Oct. 2, 1995. Janice was a member of First United Church of Christ and a member of the Women's Fellowship of the church. She enjoyed quilting and was a member of "The Quilters group at the church. Janice enjoyed the company of others at Burlington Care Center. She was an avid reader of many topics. She is survived by nieces and nephews. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, William and one son, Thomas. Funeral services will be held in Prugh's Chapel Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor JudyAnn Morse will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, Iowa. No formal visitation is planned. A memorial has been established for the First United Church of Christ.
