Mrs. Karen K. Hild, 71, of Roseville, Illinois and formerly of Burlington, Iowa died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Roseville Rehabilitation and Health Care in Roseville, Illinois.
Born October 19, 1945 in Aberdeen, South Dakota, she was the daughter of Robert G. and Berniece (Wagner) Brondel. On December 29, 1963 she married Richard Charles Hild in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He preceded her in death on December 10, 1989.
Mrs. Hild worked at Newsland and for the R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company. She enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and knitting.
Survivors include two sons, Michael Charles Hild of Burlington, Iowa, Mark Alan Hild of Glenwood, Iowa; one daughter, Cindy Kay Peterson of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; eight grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister and two brothers, one in infancy.
The memorial funeral service for Mrs. Hild will be 2 p.m. Saturday, February 4th, at Lunning Chapel with Father Carl Mann officiating. Inurnment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
