Services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. in Giles funeral home for Mrs. Mildred (Mickey) Archibald, 46, of Agency Road. Mrs. Archibald died in a car-truck crash on the Hwy 61 Flint creek bridge Wednesday afternoon The Rev. Andrew Simko will officiate. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery. Mrs. Archibald was born June 25, 1917, in Drakesville, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Williams. On July 25, 1937, she married Kenneth Archibald in Muscatine. She was an accordion teacher. Surviving are her husband; two married daughters, Mr. Kenneth Salzwedel of Burlington and Mrs. Paul Eash of Rt. 4, and three children at home: John, Carl and Wanita. Also surviving are two grandchildren, a number of nieces and nephews and the following brothers and sisters: Carl Williams and Mrs. Pearl Hill, both of Portland, Ore., Mrs. LaRue Scanlan of Port Byron, Ill., and Mrs. Delpha Magee and Lloyd Williams, both of Moline, Il.
