Pamela Sue Heiniger, 57, formerly of Burlington, died at 9:10 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at Donnellson Health Care Center.
Born June 25, 1954 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Philip R. and Pauline E. Yoder Heiniger.
Pamela attended school at Hope Haven Area Development Center and then worked for Hope Haven Activity Center. She lived at the Guegler Group Home before transferring to the Donnellson Health Care Center. She enjoyed watching T.V., spending time with friends and spending the holidays with her family.
Survivors include one brother, Philip W. (Ramona) Heiniger of Burlington; one niece Krista (Mike) Wiklund of LeClaire, Iowa and one nephew Ryan (Nikki) Heiniger of Bismark, North Dakota.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
The funeral service for Miss Heiniger will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 13th in Lunning Chapel with minister Jim Vierling officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Hope Haven Area Development Center.
