Gloria Madalyn Hecox, 86, of Farmington, IL, formerly of Burlington, IA, passed away on Sunday August 4, 2013 at 5:40 am, at Farmington Country manor, in Farmington.
She was born on May 9, 1927 in Keokuk, IA to Louis and Katherine Bohon Jaster.
She married Donald Hecox.
Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Janet Hecox of Farmington, IL; four grandchildren, Heidi (Jeffry) Ensign, Louis (Tricia) Hecox, James (Emily) Hecox, and Karen (Jeff) Cecil; one granddaughter-in-law Sue Goodwin; seven great grandchildren; and one sister, Beulah Zseleczky of Clearwater, Florida.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two children, Kathy Goodwin and Louis Hecox; and one grandson, Dr. Robert Goodwin.
She worked as a licensed beautician and a nursing aid for many years.
Gloria was of the Catholic faith and enjoyed quilting.
Graveside services for Gloria will be held at 11 am, Tuesday August 6, 2013, at Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington, IA (2043 Sunny Side Ave., Burlington, IA 52601).
