Obituary
Roland Angier, 67, of 602 West Mr. Pleasant, West Burlington, died at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 15, in Burlington hospital. He was born May 6, 1902, at Hancock, Minn., the son of Frank H. and Lillian Beggs Angier. June 9, 1925, at Hancock, he married Edythe Landes.
Mr. Angier, a member of First Methodist church, had been employed at Burlington hospital prior to his retirement. Surviviing: The wife; three sons, Cmdr. Donald L. Angier, New York, Lyle H., Des Moines, and Keith, juneau, Alaska; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Hodgson, Waseca, Minn., Mrs. George Jensen, Hancock; and eight grandchildren.
A memorial fund has been established at the Burlington Hospital cardiac unit. The body is at Prugh's chapel where services are pending.
