Mr. Wesley Bates Hawk, 94, of Palm Beach, Florida and formerly of Burlington, Detroit, Michigan and Bonaparte died at 11:34 p.m. Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Kindred Hospitals of the Palm Beaches in Riviera, Florida.
Born June 2, 1920 in Bonaparte, he was the son of Ralph and Beatrice (Dawson) Hawk. On June 26, 1945 he married Rosalee G. Thomas in Burlington. She preceded him in death on November 6, 2005.
Mr. Hawk was a graduate of Bonaparte High School. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He worked in auto sales.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife both abroad and within the United States.
Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rosalee.
The graveside funeral service and interment will be 1 p.m. Friday, January 2nd, in Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating.
