John C. Andrews, 73, of 123 Greenbriar Drive, died at 1041 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 1996, at University Hospitals in Iowa City.
Born Nov. 18, 1922, in Burlington, he was the son of John C. and Alice Peterson Andrews. He married Evelyn M. Noble Jan. 16, 1949, in Muscatine.
Mr. Andrews had been a milkman for Sunshine Dairy and Gustafson Dairy. He was a World War II Army veteran and a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Eagles Aerie No. 150 and Teamsters Local 218.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Michael Andrews of Des Moines; two sisters, Eleanor Adolphson of Burlington and Marjory Kluge of Houston, Texas; three grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 7 to 830 p.m. today at Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Andrews will be 1 p.m. Sunday at Prugh's Chapel, with the Rev. Milton Geisler officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established.
