Mrs. Clara F. Binder, 75, of 1954 Sunnyside, died Thursday, in Klein hospital at 6:57 pm. She had been a patient there five months.
She was born on Mar. 16, 1894, in Burlington, the daughter of Charles J and Amanda Dankwardt Binder. She was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society, Daughters of Isabella, Hawkeye Natives, United Commercial Travelers, Izaak Walton auxiliary, St. Francis, and Memorial hospital, Mercy unity, auxiliaries. She was chairman of the Ritter Home for many years and served on Catholic charities.
Surviving: A son, Paul Binder, and two sisters, Hattie Binder and Amanda Binder, all of Burlington.
Services: Monday at 9 am in St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Father James Quinlan; Aspen Grove Cemetery. The rosary will be at Prugh’s chapel Sunday at 7:30 pm.
