Obituary
Brian "B" Hand, 51, of Muscatine, died at 3:13 AM Saturday, July 15, 2017, at the Trinity Muscatine Hospital in Muscatine.
Born March 4, 1966, in Burlington, he was the son of Adrian and Linda Coontz Hand. In 1989, he married Drentha "DeeDee" Reynolds in St. Patrick's Church, in Burlington. They later divorced.
Brian worked at Exide for many years and then Reed & Reed.
He enjoyed being on his computer, plants, gardening, hunting, fishing and helping with activities at the nursing home. He was very social and could light up a room with his presence. He especially enjoyed spending time with his friends and family.
Survivors include his parents Adrian and Linda of Burlington; one daughter, Carina Hand of Ames; two sons, Connor Hand & Mason Hand both of West Burlington; two sisters, Vicki (Troy) Walker & Susan (David) Fowler both of Burlington; one brother, Monte (Teresa) Hand of Bettendorf; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his aunts & uncles.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
Visitation will be from noon until 7:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
The memorial service for Mr. Hand will be 10:00 AM Friday, July 21, 2017, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Chaplain Randy Gearhart officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for his family.
