Obituary
William Anderson, 52, of 310 S. Garfield, died Tuesday, Jan.25, at University hospitals, Iowa City, after an extended illness. The son of Axel and Alice Lundstrom Anderson, he was born June 19, 1924, at Chicago. He married Lorraine Warnimont Feb. 28, 1948 in Chicago. He was owner of Anderson's Soft Water Co., Burlington. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church, Elks, Moose, Eagles, American Legion, and was a WWII veteran.
Surviving: The wife; his mother, Burlington; two sons, Lawrence and Steve, both of Burlington; two daughters, Mrs. Gail Savage, Lawton, Okla., and Susan, Burlington; brother, Donald, Homewood, Ill.; two grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday, Sheagren funeral home, Rev. Clyde norrgard; Aspen Grove cemtery. A memorial has been established with the American Cancer Society.
