Pearl Elizabeth Anderson, 74, 413 Broadway, West Burlington, died Wednesday at 1:05 p.m. at Klein Memorial hospital after an extended ilness. Mrs. Anderson was born May 3, 1894, at West Burlington, the daughter of Herman and Mary Calgren Hanson. June 10, 1925, at West Burlington, she married William Carl Anderson. She was of the Lutheran faith and before retirement she was assistant cook at Kresge cafeteria. Surviving: Her husband; a sister, Mrs. Gertrude Smithburg, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; two brothers, Raymond Hanson, Burlington, and Herman Hanson, West Burlington; several nieces and nephews.
Services: Saturday, 2 p.m. Prugh's Chapel; Rev. Mr. Luther Livingston, Aspen Grove cemetery.
