Nola Sarah Wiedemeier, 84, of Burlington, died at 12:10 p.m. Monday, May 10, 1999, at Burlington Medical Center Kllein Unit. Born September 6, 1914, in Hamburg, Ill., she was the daughter of Charles H. and Ollie Jane Crader Sevier. On March 20, 1937, she married Herbert A. Wiedemeier in Kane, Ill. He died June 8, 1994. Mrs. Wiedemeier was a 1926 graduate of Hamburg High School in Hamburg. She was a homemaker, and worked for the Burlington Community School District. She was a member of UCT, Isaak Walton League, Trinity Lutheran Church of Burlington, its Women's Circle, and was a Sunday School teacher. She was a den mother for Cub Scouts for several years, loved to garden, and had made quilts for her children and grandchildren. Survivors include one son, Daniel H. Wiedemeier of Burlington; one daughter, Delores D. Harken of Lansdale, Pa.; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Mae Burge of Kampsville, Ill. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, one brother, and one grandchild. Visitation will be from noon until 8 p.m. today in Lunning Chapel, and the family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church. The funeral for Mrs. Wiedemeier will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Charles Evans officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
