Geraldine Marie Anderson, 80, of Mequon, Wis., formerly of Burlington, died at 1:27 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, 1996. at Waukesha Memorial Hospital. Born Dec. 5, 1915, at Fort Madison, she was the daughter of Floyd L. and Mathilda Prebe Gehle. She married James Robert Anderson on June 24, 1939. He died Feb. 1, 1989.
Mrs. Anderson was a 1933 graduate of Fort Madison High School. She and her husband owned and operated Anderson PAstry Shop on Spray Street in Brulington from 1948 to 1973. She moved to Cherokee Village, Ark., in1973 and then to Wisconsin in 1993.
Survivors include two sons, Robert L. Anderson of Burlington and Kent R. Anderson of Wauwatosa, Wis.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one brother, Glenn Gehle of Peoria, Ariz.; and one niece.
Besides her husband she was preceded in ddeath by her parents.Friends may call after 9 a.m. Sunday in Lunnin Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m..
The funeral for Mrs. Anderson will be 10 a.m. Monday in Lunning Chapel, with the Rev. Donald Hoornstra officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
Memorials have been established for Haven of Mequon-Alzheimer's Association and Messiah Lutheran Church.
