Margaret "Peg" Elizabeth Guerin, 82, of Burlington died at 11:15 a.m. Sunday, January 1, 2006, at Bickford Cottage in Burlington. Born May 7, 1923 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of Daniel Herbert and Martha Helen Todd Spalding Lamb. On June 4, 1955 she married Edward John Guerin in Madison, Wisconsin. Mrs. Guerin was a homemaker. She was a member of SS John and Paul Catholic Church and was very active in the Hetta Gilbert Society. She was an avid bridge player. Survivors include her husband, Edward John Guerin of Burlington; two sons, L. James Guerin of Omaha, Nebraska and Robert M. Guerin of San Rafael, California; two daughters, Mary M. Foote of Stillwell, Kansas and Gayle M. Hudson of Forest Park, Illinois; eight grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters Catharine D. Lathrop of Brookings, Oregon and Mary A. Ericsen of Modesto, California; and numerous nieces and nephews. One son Gary, her parents, and three brothers preceded her in death.
