Obituary
Mr. Carl Richard Anderson, 74, of 919 Park, died at Burlington hospital Wednesday at 5:15 a.m. where he had been a patient three days. A native of Burlington, he was born Aug. 27, 1889, the son of Peter Eric and Sophia Olson Anderson. On June 5, 1917, he was married to Naomi Albright, at Oelwein, who survives.
Mr. Anderson was a former employee of the J.I. Case company and the IAAP. He was member of West Hill Methodist church and a veteran of WWI. He served with the 32nd division.
Besides his widow, he is survived by the following children: Mrs. Carol Potter, 1519 S. Main; Warren Anderson of Warsae, Ind.; Mrs. Claudia Erickson, Burlington Rt. 1; Albert H. Anderson of 2219 S. 10th; Mrs. Mary Ann Kulp, Burlington Rt. 1; eight grandchildren and three cousins. Three sisters and a brother are dead.
Services will be Saturday 2 p.m. at Elliott-Lunning Chapel. There will be military rites at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
