Robert Len "Bobby" Goodwin, 43, of Summerville, S.C., and formerly of Danville, died Wednesday, December 16, 2009, in Summerville. Born March 15, 1966, in Burlington, he was the son of Charles and Christina Rowley Goodwin. He married Susan Lofgren. Mr. Goodwin was a chiropractor. He founded Charleston Trigard Vault Co. in 1995 and served several funeral homes in the Charleston area. He changed the name of his company to Hecox-Goodwin in 2008. He was a graduate of Palmer College in Chiropractic. He was a member of Delta Sigma Chi, Monument Builders of South Carolina, Monument Builders of America, NFDA and affiliate member of SCFDA. He attended Cathedral of Praise. He enjoyed sports, especially his children's sports activities. Survivors include his wife; one son, Chase Goodwin of Summerville; one daughter, Sara Goodwin of Summerville; his mother of Danville; his grandmothers, Gloria Hecox of Farmington, IL, and Evelyn Rowley and Fran Goodwin, both of Burlington; One brother, Tim Goodwin of Iowa City; and two sisters, Jana Frank of Peoria, IL, and Heidi Ensign of Galesburg, IL. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Cathedral of Praise Church in North Charleston, S.C. The funeral for Mr. Goodwin will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Cathedral of Praise Church. The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home in Burlington. The funeral for Mr. Goodwin will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hass-Thielen Funeral Home Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington.
