Dorothy Branscom, 76, of Grandview, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1996, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
Born July 31, 1919, in Valley Junction, she was the daughter of Clarence and Ruby Jan Martin Boggs.
Ms. Branscom retired from Hon Industries in 1986 after 20 years of service.
She was a member of Davenport Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge, Muscatine Chapter.
Survivors include four sons, Jim, of Bloomsbury, Pa., Joe of Topeka, Kan., George of Queen City, Mo., and Lonnie Goodwin of Grandview; one daughter, Mary J. Brown Mehalovich; one stepson, Bob Goodwin of Tupelo, Miss.; 18 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Lillie Davis of Davenport and Odessa Gillespie of Queen City, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a grandson, a great-grandson, a brother, and a sister.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 pm Friday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home in Columbus Junction.
The funeral for Ms. Branscom will be 1:30 pm Saturday at Stacy-Lewis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
