Mrs. Lillian C. Anderson, 87, formerly of 508 S. Plane, died Sunday, Jan. 15, at Elm View Care Center. She was born May 14, 1896, at Galesburg, Il., to Alfred and Amanda Johnson Risburg. She married the late Hilmer Anderson April 10, 1924, in Burlington.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of Messiah Lutheran church, the VFW, and WWI Widows.
Surviving: Son George, Minneapolis, Minn.; daughter Janet Peterson, Moline, Il.; and three grandchildren.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Messiah Lutheran Church, the Rev. Donald Hoornstra; Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial to Messiah Church has been established at Sheagren Funeral Home.
