Obituary
Harry Louis Anderson, 73, a retired policeman and school attendance officer, died at his home at 1906 S. 12th at 10:20 p.m. Thursday.
Mr. Anderson was the son of John August and Emma Johnson Anderson, and was born Oct. 3, 1892 in Burlington. he served in the US Army in WWI.
Mr. Anderson served on the police force for 22 years before retiring and becoming school attendance officer.
He was married Dec. 16, 1927 at Monmouth, Il to Josephine Weikert. He ws a member of Harrison Avenue Methodit church and of the VFW, Veterans of WWI, Policemans association and Eagles lodge.
Surviving: The wife, sister Mrs Ellen Cornell of Burlington, and one nephew and one niece. Services: The Prugh Chapel at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. George C. Pennington, Aspen Grove cemetery.
