Mrs. Emma M. Anderson, 81, Danville Rt. 1, died in Danville Community Home at 11:50 p.m. Sunday, July 22. She was a native of Des Moines county and was born Oct 24, 1891. the daughter of Chris and Dorthea Morhling Schmicker.
She was married to Ernest Anderson at Burlington on May 28, 1919; he died Nov. 4, 1962.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of First United Church of Christ and of the WSCS of the Long Creek United Methodist church and of the Hawkeye Natives.
Survivng; Two sons, Howard Anderson, New London, and Daniel Anderson, Danville; a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Hobart, Davenport; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral: Lunning Chapel at 10:30 Wednesday, Revs. George Pennington and Fred Trimble; Aspen Grove cemetery. A cancer Society memorial has been established at the funeral home.
