Obituary
Mrs. Esther S. Anderson, 611 S. Central Ave., died in Burlington hospital Wednesday. A native of Burlington, she was born April 6, 1904, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William McCaleb. On June 29, 1929, she was married to George H. Anderson. They were married in Burlington. Mrs. Anderson was a member of Grace United Methodist church and of the WSCS of the church; also of Golden Links Sunday school class; Palestine Shrine No 11, WS of J; Alert circle of King's Daughters and E.C. Blackmar OES chapter, of which she was a past worthy matron.
Surviving: Sons Donald Anderson of Grand Forks, N. Dak., and Richard Anderson of Burlington; brother Ralph McCaleb of Burlingotn; sisters Mrs. H. A. nutter, Galesburg, Il and Mrs. A.H. dietz, Waterloo and two grandchildren.
Services: Grace church Saturday at two, Rev. Henry T. Hackman, Aspen Grove cemetery. The body will lie in state at the church from 10:30 Saturday morning. An Eastern Star service will be held at the Sheagren funeral home Friday at 7:30.
