Mrs. Blanche Elizabeth Anderson, 60, of Sperry, died at 6:23 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy hospital where she had been a patient nine days.
She was born June 1, 1905 at Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of John and Bridget Hurley Burns. On Sept. 26, 1930, at Rock Island, Ill., she married Elmer Luther Anderson.
She was a member of Willing Workers Club of Franklin township, Rebecca Lodge of Sperry. She was of the Catholic faith.
Surviving are: her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Felgar, Mt. Pleasant, Marilyn Anderson, Waukegan, Ill; one brother, John Burns, Janesville, Wis.; one sister, Florence Burns, mt. Pleasant; and six grandchildren. Her parents died earlier.
Services wil be 2 p.m. Friday at Prugh's chapel, Father James P. Quinlan officiating. Burial will be in Apen Grove cemetery. The roasary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Prugh;s.
