Obituary
Mr. David Gordon Anderson, 80, of 414 S. woodlawn, died at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday in Burlington hospital. He had been a patient at the hospital since JAn. 11 when he suffered injuries when thrown from a car in a collision at Amelia and S. Leebrick.
He was born Jan. 8, 1885, in Burlington the son of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Anderson. In October 1908, he married Hortense Richter at Racine, Wis. She survives.
He was aretired self-employed building contractor. he was a member of Racine lodge 18, AF&AM, Knights Templar; Tripoli Shrine and Consistory of Milwaukee; a 32nd Degree Mason and a 50-year member of the Carpenters Union. He was a member of West Avenue Baptist church.
Surviving are: his wife; two sons, Gordon, Racine, Wis., RObert, Richland, Wash.; four grandchildren; four sisters; one brother; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2 p.m., Saturday from Prugh's Chapel, Rev. Andrew M. Simko officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
