Mrs. Wilma LaVonne Fullhart, 84, of Wever, died Monday, March 3, 2014, at her home.
Born November 11, 1929 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Oliver James and Ethyl Eleanor (Drinkall) Marshall. On April 24, 1949 she married Glen Louis Fullhart in Burlington. He preceded her in death on August 20, 2007.
Mrs. Fullhart was a 1947 Burlington High School graduate. She worked at Ross Manufacturing for four years, Snappy Service for 10 years, and was a cashier at Hy-Vee #2 for 31 years. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and was a member and past president of the VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed crocheting, baking, cats, camping, traveling, roller skating, bird watching and collecting buffalos.
Survivors include three children, Jerry Glen (Susana) Fullhart of St. Peters, Missouri, Sandra (Eldon) Fullhart Snyder of Wever and Dale (Alberta) Fullhart of Fort Madison; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and one sister, Doris Hultgren of West Burlington.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, March 6th, at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral service for Mrs. Fullhart will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 7th, at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Dean Graber officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established for Wever Fire Dept. and P.A.W.S. Animal Shelter in Fort Madison.
