Carl Egnar Anderson, 87, 121 Summer St., West Burlington, died in Burlington hospital at 2:25 a.m. Wednesday. He was a retired blacksmith who had been employed by the Burlingotn and Milwaukee railroads. A resident of Burlington for 17 years, Mr. Anderson was born in Burlingron, Nov. 25, 1879. He was the son of John and Sophia Anderson. he never married.
Mr. Anderson was of the Lutheran faith. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. Surviving: Nieces, Mrs. John Danielson, West Burlington, Mrs. Clarence Pohren, Burlington; sister-in-law Mrs. Yerda Anderson, West Burlington.
Services: Friday 1 p.m. at Prugh Chapel, Rev. Luther Livingston, Aspen Grove cemetery.
