Mildred Flynn, 89, St. Francis Continuation Care Center, Burlington, died at 3:50 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, 1999 at St. Francis. Born Dec. 14, 1909, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Dennis and Elizabeth Haller Flynn. Miss Flynn was a retired nurse's aide. She worked for Mercy Hospital and Burlington Medical Center. She was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, St. Patrick's Altar and Rosary Society, and was a bingo player at St. John's. Survivors include many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, one of whom was her twin. A rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. Monday in Prugh's Chapel, with a Christian wake service at 7 p.m. The family will receive friends following the wake service until 8:30 p.m. The funeral for Miss Flynn will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, with the Revs. Gerald Stouvenel and Thomas Reilman officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial has been established for St. Francis Continuation Care Center.
