Former Burlingtonian Norman Boyd Flynn, 73, Cedar Rapids, died in St. Luke Hospital, Cedar Rapids, Monday, Aug. 23. He was born Sept. 9, 1908, at Wever, He married Frances Schulz, Oct. 21, 1933, at Kahoka, Mo. He was a railway postal clerk for 37 years before retirement, He was a member of the United Methodist Church. Surviving: The wife; two sons, Richard W., Oelwein, and Dennis D., Cedar Rapids, daughter Mary Kimball, Wilmington, Del.; brother Lloyd, Burlington, sister Ruth Hulse, Burlington, and five grandchildren. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories, Cedar Rapids, the Rev. Leroy Bauman, Committal: 2 p.m. Aspen Grove Cemetery.
