Herbert Fladt, 72, of 2845 Sunnyside, died at 9:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at Memorial hospital at Burlington. Born Aus. 28, 1902 in Burlington, he was the son of Julius and Nettie Volpp Fladt. He married Lola Anderson on May 19, 1923. Mr. Fladt was a retired baker. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran church. Surviving: The wife; two sons, Bruce Fladt, Burlington, and Mrs. Kathryn Lehman, West Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Nettie Zaiser. Funeral: At Messiah church at a time to be announced, Rev. Larry Fruehling; Aspen Grove. A memorial has been established for the church. The body is at Lunning chapel.
